Insta360 Third-Person Backpack Mount

Epic Drone-Like Shots Without the Drone: Insta360 Third-Person Backpack Mount

Capture breathtaking, cinematic third-person perspectives and video-game-style follow shots effortlessly with the official Insta360 Third-Person Backpack Mount. Engineered specifically for outdoor enthusiasts, hikers, skiers, and content creators, this specialized hands-free mounting system secures directly to your backpack straps, allowing your 360-degree camera to record your adventures from an immersive rear angle without requiring a physical camera operator or the complexity of piloting a drone.

Constructed with a robust yet remarkably lightweight carbon fiber pole and a high-damping aluminum alloy ball head, the mount minimizes vibration and stands up to demanding environments while remaining featherlight on your shoulders. It features fully adjustable nylon backpack and waist straps designed to fit securely across a wide variety of backpack shapes and sizes. When paired with an Insta360 360° camera, the mounting pole completely vanishes in post-production, leaving you with clean, professional, floating-perspective action footage.

Professional Studio Features

• Immersive Third-Person POV: Positions your camera behind you to capture stunning, game-like “follow cam” or drone-like footage hands-free.

• High-Damping Ball Head: Premium adjustable joint ensures smooth camera articulation and locks your desired shooting angle securely in place.

• Lightweight Carbon Fiber Construction: Combines an ultra-rigid carbon fiber rod with durable aluminum alloy and nylon components to keep weight down during long excursions.

• Universal Backpack Compatibility: Equipped with fully adjustable shoulder and waist straps that lock tightly onto almost any standard backpack.

• Invisible Pole Effect: Integrates seamlessly with Insta360 360° cameras so the mounting hardware is automatically edited out of your final video file.

• Quick Assembly & Disassembly: Designed for fast mounting and removal, letting you transition smoothly from hiking to riding chairlifts or packing your gear.

💡 Pro-Tip: Adjust the high-damping ball head so that your camera’s stitching line points directly parallel to your travel direction. This ensures that the mounting pole stays cleanly hidden inside the camera’s blind spot for an authentic, floating third-person effect.
