Viltrox VL-500T Slim Round Ring Video LED

Natural Illumination: Viltrox VL-500T Slim Round LED Light

The Viltrox VL-500T is engineered for creators who prioritize soft, wrap-around lighting. By utilizing high-density SMD LEDs and a built-in honeycomb-style diffuser, it eliminates the “multiple shadow” effect common in standard LED panels. The result is a soft, window-light quality that gently fills in shadows and enhances skin textures, which is essential for high-end beauty content or professional talking-head interviews. Its round form factor is not just aesthetic—it mimics the shape of the sun or traditional studio beauty dishes for a more organic look.

Precision Control and High-End Optics

Accuracy is a hallmark of the Viltrox VL-500T. Boasting a CRI of 95+, it ensures that colors are reproduced faithfully, making it a reliable tool for product photography and commercial work. The rear of the unit features a bright, easy-to-read LCD screen that displays the current color temperature, brightness percentage, and battery level. Adjustments are made via a tactile dial, allowing you to dim the light from 20% to 100% without any flickering, even at high frame rates—perfect for slow-motion product shots.

Versatility for Studio and Field Use

Whether you are working in a controlled studio in Tripoli or on a remote location shoot, the VL-500T adapts to your needs. It can be powered via the included DC power adapter for long production days or via a Sony NP-F type lithium battery for total wireless freedom. The light comes with a standard cold shoe mount that features a 1/4″-20 tripod thread, allowing it to sit securely atop a camera, a light stand, or a desktop bracket.

Slim Profile, Professional Impact

Measuring only a few centimeters in thickness, the VL-500T is easy to pack and transport, yet it delivers a powerful output of up to 2000 Lumens. Its heat-dissipating design ensures the unit remains cool to the touch even after hours of continuous use, protecting the longevity of the LEDs. For videographers and photographers looking for a sleek, modern lighting solution that delivers premium soft-light results, the Viltrox VL-500T is a standout performer in its class.
